Intraoperative Cardiovascular Depression in Preoperatively Undiagnosed Hypothyroid Patient -A case report-

Since hypothyroid patients are unusually sensitive to inhaled anesthetic drugs and opioids, they have an experience of prolonged recovery or increased incidence of cardiovascular complications. We report a case of preoperatively undiagnosed hypothyroidism and describe its manifestations, the unusual manner in which it was diagnosed, and its treatment during perioperation period.
